Mission
KCCA Mission Statement
The Kansas County Commissioners Association (KCCA) serves Kansas County Commissioners who represent the nearly three million citizens residing in the 105 counties of Kansas. As the only organization in Kansas exclusively focused on needs of county commissioners and their constituents, the KCCA:
- Provides education on the ethical, policy making, statutory, and regulatory responsibilities of a county commissioner.
- Offers training on ways to effect change and promote and enhance local control of counties through state and federal legislative processes.
- Engages in issues facing partner associations by demonstrating a willingness to listen, negotiate differences, and seek common ground consistent with the public interest.
- Seeks strategic alliances that benefit the interests of county government and its citizens.
